About This Class: Lay a foundation for your digital arts projects by exploring the technology and creative applications of digital imaging and photography. Students learn the technical fundamentals of computer-based art and design, exploring case studies on how digital artists create their work in both the commercial and fine arts space. Hands-on assignments explore core concepts in digital imaging and color.

About the Instructor: Andrew Shalat is an author, designer/illustrator, educator, and Mac expert. The author of two books: Do It Yourself Mac Projects, published by McGraw-Hill, and MacDesign Out of the Box, he is heard weekly on Mac radio.
Prerequisites:
• PC or Mac computer with an Internet connection (56 Kbps modem or faster is recommended).
• Adobe Photoshop CS2 or 3.
• Adobe Illustrator CS2 or 3.
